Equestrian barns.

If you have horses or a horse person in your life, you know the only thing that challenges the importance of your home is the home for horses! A well built barn is strong (very, very strong) and functional (very, very functional). Jonas Riley, owner of Fort Construction, owns both cattle and horses and is able to bring an experienced eye to your agricultural or equestrian barn build.

Improve and Remodel -
A veterinarian's barn

This old barn was improved and expanded to include three 12x12 stalls and four 12x24 stalls for patients on stall rest. An equine surgical suite was created with stocks and medical equipment storage, fiberglass walls (for their ability to be sanitized), and an office with a bathroom.

Give the horses a second chance!

The owner of this barn decided to rescue some "kill pen" horses and give them their best lives and a new fancy home. This 6 stall has a feed room, tack and laundry room, and wash racks. Each stall has a dutch door on the rear to allow them access to their paddocks.

Charming equestrian center in Claremore -
The story of it's rebirth.

After many years as premier dressage center, this property was getting a bit "long in the tooth". Happily, under new ownership, this facility will thrive again! Now that renovations are underway we can expect to see USET rated shows right in our back yard.

Eight stall barn -
Fort Gibson, OK

This family has four "normal" horses (quarter horses) and four that require a little more room (draft and Thuroughbred horses). The barn was designed with one side of the isle having standard 12/12 stalls and the other side having 12/14 for the big guys. Also in this build is an appartment for overnight mare care (foaling season can be rough, ya'll), stocks, feed storage and wash racks.
